Downtown Fishers, Indiana Senior Photo Session

This Fishers, Indianapolis Senior photo session in the Nickle Plate District was the perfect combination of classy, fun and full of personality! Carter was an absolute gem to work with, and the Nickle Plate District provides so many urban backdrops for a variety-filled gallery. From the different textures of the brick, cement, government and business buildings to the streets, paths and fun murals, and even down to the swings, stairs and benches, it is a great area for an urban senior photo session.

We started the photos in this classy suit. (Doesn’t he look handsome!?) These suit photos bring an elevated vibe to his senior photo gallery and will be perfect for professional head shots moving into adulthood.

Carter’s mom was along for the session and she requested photos with these swings in the background. This setting with the suit is reminding me of an old train station (which is appropriate since the Nickle Plate Railroad used to go right through this area before they converted it into a walking trail in 2006).

These stairs are just a few steps away from the previous photo (you can spot the swings behind Carter). The stairs, the lighting and the depth behind this area has made this a favorite spot of mine to go to when doing a photo session in the Nickle Plate District. Also, take note of the snazzy pretzel socks Carter is wearing. Aren’t they amazing!?

This mural, called “Greetings from Fishers,” can easily be seen when driving East on 116th street in Fishers and I love all the fun colors in it. The Muralists, Casey and Corey Wilkinson, completed this mural in 2023 and it is next to the brand new Café Patachou. I haven’t been there yet, but I’ve heard amazing things about it! Next up was an outfit change and exploring more areas. The bridge going under 116th is such a great place for boy senior photos, wouldn’t you agree?
