Who doesn’t love an adorable Valentine themed photo session? Especially when it’s in the middle of the cold winter season! For this setup I used pink backdrop paper, hearts on strings and hear confetti. I also pulled in a little white rug I already had and a little white chair I picked up for free off the side of the road a few years ago.
First I set up the backdrop for my own kids. These little pink velvet shirts from Old Navy and cute little sunglasses just had me beside myself with cuteness overload!
The head tilt. The leg pop. I just cannot handle her cuteness sometimes!
And a twinning picture of the sisters was an absolute must!
A few days later, I kept the magic going with a few other families! The confetti really made this a fun photo session. It adds some fun texture and motion to the photos and it gave kids of all ages a fun activity to do! From blowing the confetti, to having mom “rain down” confetti on top of them and even when it came time to clean up the confetti, every age had so much fun with the confetti!
Oh! And dance parties during a photo session is a must if you ask me!
Here’s the white rug I was talking about! This is normally in my little girl’s bedroom, so it was easy to grab and add to our setup. It broke up the pink a little bit and helped reflect some clean light amidst all the pink color casting going on! (And can we even handle that cut little bit of baby drool coming down. Just the cutest!)
If ya didn’t believe me when I said the confetti was a blast to have, these picture just prove it for you! That’s genuine joy captured right there!
And there ya have it! Joyful, fun, Valentine photos set up in my sunroom.
