I'm an outdoor family & senior photographer based in Lake Orion, Michigan buuuut...I also LOVE doing destination photo sessions! I have done photo shoots in over 10 different states across the US!
My photography style is light, natural, airy & true to color. I know the value of getting posed photos (& I make sure to capture those) BUT...the pictures that really get me excited are the ones that capture joy, personality & connection.
As such, I play lots of games & give prompts to help you feel comfortable & confident in front of the camera, capture those genuine smiles & personalities &, of course, to have lots of fun!
I studied Elementary Education in college, and taught in elementary school, preschool and special needs classrooms. I never planned on homeschooling, but it felt like the right choice for our family, so here I am exploring the world with my husband and 4 kiddos as a homeschooling mom and finding joy in all the chaos!
Photography has turned into the dream and passion that I never knew I had! In 2012 I started taking photos of my own kids just for fun. Then family and friends started asking me to take photos for them and I found I really loved it. In 2015 I started growing my photography business, and haven’t looked back! I love creating beautiful photos, I enjoy meeting new people and I get to do all of this while capturing memories that will last forever!

My better half
I've been to 47 out of 50 states in the United States. And in 2020 our family spent a year living in an RV & traveling the country. I love to travel, so this was a dream come true!

I'm a homeschool momma to these 4 kids of mine and I absolutely love it! I love getting to explore the world with them, to empower them to face hard things and to teach them to love learning!

I may not be the best at planning & preparing meals, but when I do, I love fresh & wholesome foods! Spicy dill pickles, feta cheese, fresh peaches, & gourmet ice cream are a few that top the list.
favorite foods
We have a mini farm with over 20 chickens, a wildflower field and plenty of space to roam! We love spending time outdoors and doing home improvement projects together.
